Free parking on-site provided. Incredibly comfortable and excellent rooms with WiFi, a TV set, and a lounge area, lovely views. A great selection of food available in the dining room. First-class service, very friendly and good staff during stay.

While the grounds are lovely, the strict check-in times can feel a bit rigid, especially if you arrive late or unexpected. Driving is necessary for evening meals due to limited on-site dining options, which some might find inconvenient after a day of exploring. Some rooms, like the Chillingham, could use better bedside lighting for reading, and the absence of a bath in a spacious bathroom seemed like a missed opportunity. Lastly, being away from major attractions requires careful planning to avoid long drives, which might put a damper on spontaneous adventures.

Being at Chatton Park House was an entirely pleasurable experience . The reception and subsequent care taken by the husband and wife owners was next to none. The house and its grounds are beautifully kept. There is a lovely view of the Cheviot Hills as the house is approached from the A1.

The breakfast spread was really good, with homemade jams and the most good tomatoes I've ever tasted.
The driveway leading up to the hotel can be a bit tight, making navigation slightly challenging for larger vehicles.
